Our Story
The Maker Behind the Cord.
Molly. Charleston, SC.

How it started
Molly had been making coastal jewelry for years, Bella Mack Jewelry — sea glass pendants, gold and silver cuffs, rings set with all her favorite stones and coastal treasure. But bolo ties have come from her trips out West, Skiing every year with her family. She came back recently and couldn't stop thinking about them. The cord. The big stones. The act of pulling one on before you head out the door to create a one of a kind look. She loves that this is a piece that is unisex, a way to elevate your man's look but then you can also borrow it from time to time, to bring some fun to your own wardrobe as well!
Loch & Cord started the way most true things do: she just couldn't leave it alone.
The Airstream
She works from a 1968 Airstream studio parked in Charleston. It's tight, deliberate, and entirely her own. Every piece is intentionally created, set, and finished by hand — no production line, no wholesale. When you order a Loch & Cord bolo, Molly makes it for you.
The stones
She sources every stone herself — selecting only ones that she knows will catch your eye and bring you joy. Her favorites include Tahitian Pearls, Hubei Turquoise, Pietersite, and Kyanite.
